The exhibition Astonishing Things showcases impressive drawings of Victor Hugo (1802-1885). Until this exhibition, I only knew Hugo as an author, was vaguely aware of his political career but was woefully ignorant that Hugo drew. Following successful renovation work, I can start to equip and work in my printmaking studio. Happily progress allowed me to open the door in time for Atelier in Beeld, an initiative of Kunstwerk to promote an open studio weekend across Belgium.
