Happily progress allowed me to open the door in time for Atelier in Beeld, an initiative of Kunstwerk to promote an open studio weekend across Belgium. Wonderful that Torlonia Marbles pieces will be available to the public and academics after too many decades in obscurity. Until 18 September 96 masterpieces of mainly Roman art can still be seen in the Gallery d’Italia, Milan, after which they leave for a European tour.
